Certified Home Health Aids
Home Health Aides assist patients with daily living activities and personal care. They provide direct care to the patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Care of the Terminally Ill
We can provide an integrated array of supportive and clinical care, differing from hospice care, because patients are able to continue to receive aggressive treatment.
Day Surgery Follow-Up
Within 48 hours of surgery, nurses perform blood draws as well as follow-up needed for symptoms management and lab results. Our services include nursing evaluation, assess,met, and rehabilitation therapy and support services. We can also assist the patient with personal care during the recuperative period.
Internal Therapy and Parenteral Nutrition
For patients with GI dysfunction, we can administer tube feedings.
Home Venipuncture and Intravenous Therapy
Blood draws, blood screening tests and lab workups, including cultures and urinalysis, are performed to provide much needed information to your primary care physician. Our capabilities also include IV starts and re-starts, instruction to patient/caregivers and management of all types of pumps for hydration and medication administration such as antibiotics.
Patient Family Education
We believe in having a string partnership with the patient's family. We help educate both patients and families about the specifics of the disease process, treatments, equipment, medications and diet counseling.
Medical Social Work
The entails psychosocial support and planning assistance for the patient and family regarding limitation of an illness or injury as well as assistance and coordination of additional required resources. Medical Social Workers explore current options, helping individuals make difficult decisions. They consider financial implications and provide emotional support, enhancing the coping skills of the family or other caregivers.
Occupational therapists evaluate a patient's functional level, teach therapeutic activities, fit self-help devices, adapt home environment and provide adaptive equipment
Physical therapists use evaluation and assessment, therapeutic exercises, massage, heat, cold or electrical treatments, education, and home adaption as part of the treatment plan.
Home Assist Program
AAA Hoosier Home Healthcare Specialists, Inc. assist patients who need more time and attention than what Medicare and Health Insurances can normally provide.
What Private Pay Services are Available?
We can provide Personal Care Attendants and Homemakers. They prepare, plan, and service light meals, do shopping, homemaking tasks, laundry (when facilities are available), but do not handle any direct patient care responsibilities.
